Home sales volume continue to go down in Davisville Village
Three detached, three semi-detached homes, and one townhouse changed hands in Davisville Village in March, a 50% drop compared to 14 home sales in the same month last year. The average value of those seven homes increased 11.1% from last year’s $1,564,786 to $1,737,857. The detached homes were valued at an average price of $2,375,000, a 47.8% increase from last year’s $1,607,000. Value for semis dropped 18.5% from last year’s $1,501,714 to $1,223,333.
For the first three months of 2018, nineteen homes were sold, a 45.7% drop compared to the year-to-date March 2017 sales which was at 35. Ten detached homes changed hands so far with an average value of $1,889,400 or a 7.3% increase compared to $1,760,500 for fourteen detached homes sold within the first three months of 2017. Semi-detached home sales decreased 66.7% from sixteen to six while value also fell 22.8% from $1,634,390 last year to $1,261,667.
